The global Marxist politician-run U.N. IPCC/WEF octopus of anti-Big Oil leftists is trying to eat the world by weaponizing the fake greenhouse effect. Global warming is good not bad, and more not less CO2 and H20 need to be pumped into the atmosphere to create more living space and food supplies.

Who is pulling the strings on US climate change denial?
https://www.quora.com/Who-is-pulling-the-strings-on-US-climate-change-denial/answer/TL-Winslow
My reply:
It’s obsolete news that Big Oil used to fund climate skeptics when they thought their income was being threatened. Long ago they switched to funding the other side because they realized there were trillions to make from a Green New Deal. Too bad, the skeptics stuck to their guns because they knew that they were actually right that CO2 was being framed as a climate control knob, and that the fossil fuel companies were saved by the truth whether they realized it or not. But money distorts everything, so who knows how it will come out. Anybody trying to live through the coldest winter in recorded North American history should smell a rat about CO2 warming anything. What did it do, turn to dry ice and fall back to the ground? :)

The basic physics that prove that CO2 in the atmosphere can’t warm the Earth’s surface is explained in my article:

Are 'historic' low temperatures a positive step for global warming?
https://www.quora.com/Are-historic-low-temperatures-a-positive-step-for-global-warming/answer/TL-Winslow
My reply:
What global warming? It’s a hoax based on tricked-up computer-generated statistics of a non-physical make-believe “global average temperature”. The Northern Hemisphere is currently going through its coldest winter in recorded history, not because of some side-effect of global warming, but because there’s a huge amount of cold air that CO2 has no effect on. If CO2 really caused any kind of warming there wouldn’t be any cold air in the first place, and winters would be snow-free. That shows up the CO2 global warming hoaxers as the emperor with no clothes, and gives them away as con artists out to get into your pocket to slay an imaginary dragon. Summers aren’t really that hot compared to the 1930s, but the super-cold winters seem more indicative of a coming mini ice age than a catastrophic runaway global warming. Trouble is by the time it’s indisputable the U.N. IPCC extortionists plan to already have bilked the Western world of trillions to give to Africa et al. with alarmists predictions set decades in the future that never come true.
It’s basic physics that CO2 in the atmosphere can’t warm the surface, because no body can warm itself with its own heat, which includes the Earth as a whole, and no cooler body like the atmosphere can warm a hotter body like the surface because the opposite will happen instead. Only the sun heats the surface, and all the atmosphere does is take the heat up and out to space. The Byzantine mathematical con game called radiative forcing is one of the scandals of science history, and an entire generation of climate science grads needs to demand their money back and train for useful careers.
Here’s my explanation of the CO2 global warming hoax in simple terms for all who want to know:

That time that it was hotter than a firecracker on the Fourth of July all year, and all the snow disappeared and the lakes all dried up everywhere :)
So far the gigantic U.N. IPCC blackmailing colossus has only managed to claim a measly .1C-.2C of warming per decade in their bizarre Byzantine computer-generated non-physical global avg. temperature scam, which is used by their useful idiots to spread alarmist stories of horrors decades in the future, while they hold their hands out now and offer no money-back guarantee. Nobody with any brains who isn’t a leftist Marxist who thinks he’s smarter than everybody else even pretends to buy it, and the more strident they get in pushing it and condemning doubters, the more we know they’re selling snake oil. I guess us skeptics are just going to wait all those decades and see if their Armageddon prophecies were true, then see how they deny knowledge of their own actions and launch a new campaign to stop the coming ice age, at the usual premium rate :)

Climate Advocates Underestimate Power of Fossil Fueled Misinformation Campaigns, Say Top Researchers
My reply:
"2nd law talks about the net flow of energy and doesn't forbid some flow from cool to hot"? Duh, you're the one guilty of misrepresentation.Quick! Patent your new reverse heat engine and get rich ! :) You need to go back to science for dummies, e.g. https://www.dummies.com/education/science/physics/flowing-from-hot-to-cold-the-second-law-of-thermodynamics/ Your whole house is built on cards. What are you going to do when the alarmists' climate armageddon fails to materialize? Erase your whole Internet presence? :) Just because the fossil fuel industry senses trouble with leftist greenies and funds some scientists for self-preservation doesn't make them wrong any more than the fact that alarmist scientists are being funded by the U.N. Marxist global octopus makes them right. There's nothing more fundamental than the laws of thermodynamics, and they are against the moose hockey about CO2 "trapping heat" and "sending it back down to Earth". Sorry, the smoke from a chimney can't send the heat back down and cook the meal twice. The Earth is a giant chimney or stovepipe, not a greenhouse, venting all heat from the surface into the infinite heat sink of outer space forever. Calling the Earth a greenhouse is moronic because there's no giant layer of glass up in the sky, and 0.04% concentration of CO2 is no substitute. Climate changes are caused by changes in the amount of sunlight reaching the surface, not the amount of heat sent by the nonexistent CO2 dragon in the sky, so CO2 is being framed for insidious political purposes and the rest is moose hockey. Ever wonder how alarmists explain how seeding the sky with sulfur dioxide to block sunlight cools the surface when that would "trap heat" which should be "sent back down to Earth" by the dragon in the sky? :) Once heat is removed from the surface by convection and radiation, it never comes back, and is of no importance unless we build cloud cities. Here's a simple proof that the First Law of Thermodynamics refutes the CO2 Greenhouse Gas Warming Theory: https://climateofsophistry.com/2019/01/14/first-law-of-thermodynamics-refutes-climate-alarm-proof-of-nikolov-zeller/ Here's my even simpler and more devastating analysis that even you can understand if you still have an open mind: http://www.historyscoper.com/climatetlw.html

What would it take to convince "climate change" enthusiasts that the Sun affects the Earth's climate?
My reply:
The T in your equation is the final temperature of the Earth as seen from space. It says nothing about the temperature distribution from the surface on up. This is why CO2 global warming theory is a giant hoax, because CO2 is part of the atmosphere, and the whole atmosphere cools the surface after the Sun heats it by convection, taking the heat to the infinite heat sink of outer space. Any infrared radiation from the surface absorbed on the way up is just more heat lost by the surface, which goes on up to space too. There is no way any of that heat can return to the surface, so who cares about it? If you stand behind the man with the flamethrower you won’t get burned. Smoke rises from a fireplace and goes out the chimney, and if the chimney is not blocked it will never send the heat back down to cook the meal twice. Humans don’t need to worry about temperatures way up in the atmosphere unless/until they build cloud cities. The globalists in the U.N. have hijacked climate science in order to extort trillions for their starry-eyed scheme to foist a Marxist one world govt. on everybody.

What Is the Antarctic Volcanoes Project?
It's too bad the current brouhaha about CO2 is so narrowly focused. So what if a higher concentration in the atmosphere raises global average temps? If higher temps were accompanied by increased atmospheric moisture, it would even out around the world and turn it into a paradise planet, greening the deserts so that the teeming billions could be fed. Cold temperatures are inimical to life, not a goal of life.
Too bad, it might take a lot more CO2 than you think to really change the global weather, but not because it has any control over Earth's surface temperatures. In fact atmospheric CO2 can't melt an ice cube with its 15 micron main radiation wavelength that has a Planck radiation temperature of -80C, colder than dry ice (-78.5C).
Why do they call CO2 greenhouse gas? Because plants breathe it, and they pump it into greenhouses to help them grow and thrive. Polar regions and deserts look good in postcards, but who wants to live there. Meanwhile global pop. is zooming, so obviously the real answer is to pump more CO2 and water vapor into the atmosphere to turn the Earth into a greenhouse, turning deserts both hot and cold into lush green crop-growing regions like 35 million years ago when the avg. global temp was 88F and the CO2 level was 1K parts per million (vs. 415 PPM today). So what if we lose some desert polar regions and even some yummy coastline, the adjustments will be inconvenient but temporary, but I prefer shirt-sleeve weather to Frosty the Snowman. How many arctic animals can't adapt to a warmer climate? What animal needs to live in ice and snow and wouldn't like a vacation to Tahiti? They can lose the fat, hair or feathers.
The real question is can we make and keep the global CO2/H20 levels high enough, and for how long? Sooner or later mass global starvation will become unstoppable if world pop. keeps climbing, and this is the way to forestall it, if we act soon enough. Don't give me them Malthusian objections, give me some CO2/H20 solutions. I like a paradise Earth in the possibility window.
So, while the world is debating the horrors, extent or lack thereof of global warming caused by CO2, let's engineer the CO2/H20 solution to making the Earth a warm temperate planet from pole to pole with no deserts or ice wastelands, allowing vastly more food to be grown and turning poor nations rich. I DON'T mean a planet with wild swings between super-hot summers and super-cold winters, but one that is warmer than now everywhere, but moister and greener, with a giant network of plant life helping to avoid extremes. Since CO2 and water vapor are the keys, and the paltry amounts in the atmosphere need to be increased as soon as possible to turn deserts green and get the warming process off to a good start, but the new levels have to be maintained permanently, I'm looking to remote Antarctica (which is really a sea) as the most promising source for unlimited CO2 and water vapor generation, given that noxious emissions (sulfur dioxide, etc.) can be controlled.
This blog is for posting news on the world climate situation, scientific and political, along with my own articles. I'm sure it will start out with hardly any interest or followers, but I'm hoping that it will attract the smartest people eventually and in the end I hope for a global consensus that if it can be done it must be done.
So what is the Antarctic Volcanoes Project? My working idea is that an international effort to reactivate as many volcanoes in Antarctica as possible in an ideal location for distributing the CO2/H20 will produce the best and most cost-effective results. Sorry, one-worlders, it won't give you a license to override and control any country's economy, but if your country is suffering from lack of food you will be too busy expanding farming to care. Hence until I think of or hear about a better way to increase world CO2/H20 levels, this is my pet project. If you are a scientist, please climb aboard my AVP Express and let's make it happen.
It Would Be Funny If It Were's So Sad
It would be funny it weren't so sad, but when the scientists say "greenhouse gas" they are using a malaprop. It should be greenhouse GLASS, because that's why a greenhouse stays warm, by glass walls stopping convection of air and trapping heat. Yes, CO2 is pumped into greenhouses, but not for heating purposes, only to help plants BREATHE. So the whole sucker's game of "greenhouse gas" must truly be for the purpose of stopping more vegetation from growing and feeding the teeming billions. Is that their true goal? Another blip on the horizon is the promise of melting permafrost releasing gigantic amounts of CO2 from the Arctic not Antarctic sector. Let's hope we at least get some more good CO2 that way.
