Zonk! This video is peddling fake physics. First, atmospheric CO2 can only absorb and emit radiation because it's a polar molecule, and only at the wavelength of 15 microns, whose photons are too weak to melt and ice cube, and are indeed identical to those emitted by dry ice (-80C). Second, air conditioners turn electrical energy into both heat and work to pump heat out of buildings into the atmosphere, which can't cause global warming because heated air is more buoyant and immediately rises toward space, dissipating the heat as it goes, no different than the heat and smoke from a campfire or the mushroom cloud from an atomic bomb. None of that heat has any way of returning to the surface from when it originated, so actually it's the atmosphere that's Earth's giant air conditioner, or actually gigantic chimney that takes the Sun's daily heat harmlessly to space, and CO2 can't even interfere with this process because the surface temperature range of -50C to +50C is way outside CO2's 15 micron radiation absorption/emission wavelength. Aggressively acting, indeed, meaning big government socialism. No, "climate change" doesn't cause or feed wildfires. It takes DRY WOOD aggravated by overgrown forests and a dry spell. The record damage isn't caused by "climate change", but by too many people trying to live in the forests and risking Mother Nature's periodic cleansing cycle.
Any claimed warming of the U.S. is so dinky that nothing in Nature could even detect it. Instead, it's a product of computers and is highly suspect of being scientific propaganda. A lack of rainfall isn't climate it's weather, which will no doubt cycle.
Most importantly, Colo. hosts a mainline climate org. whose scientists should know that CO2 can't melt an ice cube with its 15 micron radiation absorption/emission wavelength that has a Planck radiation temperature of -80C like dry ice, and isn't even in the range of Earth surface temperatures of -50C to +50C, hence can't even interfere with the real heating/cooling processes.

How many times will I see this ridiculous fake physics CO2 warming hoax repeated by so-called climate scientists?
CO2 doesn't have any way to block Earth's surface heat either coming or going. The Earth's surface range is -50C to +50C, and CO2's radiation absorption/emission wavelength of 15 microns has a Planck radiation temperature of -80C, way outside this range. It's not even infrared, but more like microwave radiation, which doesn't have anything to do with heat and mainly bounces off things after maybe doing some kind of damage. So how many people are still left who don't know the first thing about Planck's Radiation Law, the ground theorem of radiative physics that covers all cases?
CO2 causes ZERO global warming, nada, zilcho. Sometimes I wish that CO2's -80C 15 micron radiation could cause a little bit of global warming to cut the leftist-run U.N. IPCC octopus a little slack and not have to keep calling it pure evil. But alas, -80C radiation can't cause global warming any more than a wet match can light a cigarette. Even a frozen wet match at 0C is way way hotter than CO2's -80C.

A large portion of solar heat is turned into convection, which is way slower than radiation, and gets dissipated as it expands under the decreasing pressure with altitude, ultimately dissipating and removing itself from the reverse S-B equation. There’s no nifty trick to calculate Earth’s temperature with one simple algebraic equation. The full solar strength must be applied to the hemisphere Earth with a computer program that slowly rotates the Earth while calculating the cooling along the way and getting net temperatures at each geographic point and altitude. And that’s with a simplified system with no oceans or clouds.
