I can't help but groan when I read articles like this in which the gorilla in the room never gets mentioned, namely, GLOBAL MARXISM.
The global Marxist politician-run U.N. IPCC is their spear to throw into capitalism's side, with the ideal hoax that all capitalism is evil because it needs Big Oil to support it, and Big Oil is destroying the Earth with its nasty CO2 emissions.
The result is the complete takeover of climate science by the global Marxists, to the point that they've perverted even basic thermal physics to support their steal. This has allowed them to rake in big bucks allegedly to save us from Big Oil, when there is nothing to save us from, because CO2 emissions don't cause global warming.
If you want the U.N. IPCC's perversion of climate science pinned down to one thing, it's their denial of color temperature, which everybody instinctively recognizes with phrases such as "red hot" or "white hot". The IPCC's scam is to deny that it applies to low temperatures where the "color" of the object is in the invisible IR range. Nature doesn't limit its laws to what human eyes can see, and dry ice has a color just like a red hot poker does, so Planck's black body radiation law applies to CO2's thermal radiation too.
Dry ice is solid CO2, which is at -78.5C. Atmospheric CO2 molecules absorb and emit only photons of 15 micron wavelength, which are the main radiation from an object cooled to -80C, way colder than anything in Earth's climate, hence irrelevant to it. Not so with the U.N. IPCC, which claims they cause global warming including heat waves, hurricanes, et al., hence their big punchline that Big Oil must be shut down to save Earth from climate Armageddon, hence capitalism with it is full of it.
If you want to overthrow the global Marxists' iron grip on climate science, start by telling them that 15 micron photons can't melt an ice cube, hence their CO2-driven global warming theory is pure crap pushed shamelessly just to implement their anti-capitalist policies. That CO2 dog don't hunt, so tell them that if they hate capitalism so much they should find another hoax to trick suckers. Too bad, they can't, because Big Oil has all the money they need to steal to fund their takeover attempt.
Right now I'm like a hairshirt prophet crying in the wilderness, with few taking me seriously, but I've got basic thermal physics all figured out to allow climate science to be refounded on a truthful non-political basis, cleansed of all references to CO2. If I could only get one million to publicize articles like the following, I could save the people of Earth trillions.
