The classification of carbon dioxide (CO₂) as a “pollutant” is not scientifically based; it is only legally defined as one from the Supreme Court’s [questionable] ruling in Massachusetts v. EPA (2007), and the EPA Endangerment Finding that was shit shoveled into the existing legal framework of the Clean Air Act under President Obama in 2009. Just because the Supreme Court says that CO₂ is a pollutant does not make it so.
