How Accurate is Berkeley Earth Temperature Data? Guest Post by Willis Eschenbach Reprinted from the original at WattsUpWithThat by permission of the author. I got to thinking about the Berkeley Earth global temperature dataset. So I got their gridded file “Monthly Land + Ocean Average Temperature with Air Temperatures at Sea Ice” covering 1850 to 2021 and took a look at it. I started at the first month’s data, January 1850 … and my jaw hit the floor.
