An Estimate of Climate Sensitivity

When will WUWT readers and contributors wake up to how simple it is?  CO2 climate sensitivity is ZERO because it doesn't matter what cold radiation does. CO2 radiation has a Planck radiation temperature of -80C, about the same as a brick of dry ice. CO2 can only absorb cold -80C radiation, and only emit cold -80C radiation. -80C  isn't heat and can't heat anything. No matter the power from atmospheric CO2 radiation, it can't heat anything above -80C. Even a powerful CO2 laser generating millions of watts at 10.5 microns (OC) will just break chemical bonds at a material's surface and evaporate it. There are some ceramics that will absorb any amount of CO2 laser output without evaporating until the accumulated energy causes it to melt, but there are no lasers in the sky, just trace CO2 gas, which only emits puny 15 micron power in the few watts per square meter range. Everything on Earth's surface is way hotter, from -50C to +50C, and the cold weak photons get spit back out with the surface's Planck radiation power-wavelength profile, which contains photons all the way down to 0K. They can never increase the temperature of the surface, only at best slow the emission of 15 micron photons that don't even register on the temperature gauge.

So the progress of cold -80C 15 micron radiation is outside Earth's climate, period.  End of story, and end of the CO2 warming movement in sight.  It's so simple. Don't let them complicate it. Keep rubbing their noses in the simple physics. All their zeal and numbers can't change physics. We climate realists have won and just need to claim our victory, unless the CO2 warming believers can show us their patent for a dry ice-driven flamethrower . Just Say No to the IPCC and -80C. Millions for charity but not one cent for carbon taxes.

I do the math here in my nifty killer essay.  To refute it one would have to overturn Planck's Radiation Law, the foundation law of all of radiative physics. Sorry if you don't have a basic grounding in undergraduate physics and can't join in the fun.
